New Events & Attractions
NRA Country Concert, Feb. 9: It’s an annual favorite, but each year the artists and attendees make it a whole new experience that continues to live up to country music fans’ high expectations. This year we’re excited to welcome back Grammy-nominated star Lee Brice, who will be joined by special guests Easton Corbin and Tyler Farr for epic night of music and celebration of the outdoors lifestyle.
Chainsaw Demos, Feb. 2-6: Stop by the Large Arena and watch the chips fly as chainsaw carvers demonstrate their craft. Take in the sights and sounds of chainsaws and admire the incredible carved wood art they produce!
Henry Gun Giveaway: Have your eye on a new rifle or side by side? The folks at Henry Repeating Arms have you covered. Stop by booth #605 for your chance to win a Henry Golden Boy each day of the show, as well as a shot at winning the 2019 “Hunt with a Henry” Polaris General! There’s no shortage of excitement at the Show, but proudly American-Made rifles and exclusive giveaways make the Henry booth a must-see.
NRA Hunter Education: Visit the NRA booth at the main entrance of the Shooting Sports Hall to learn about the award-winning and 100% free NRA Hunter Education online course designed to help new hunters of all ages learn how to be safe and responsible members of the hunting community through state-of-the-art, comprehensive online instruction. The program is currently available in CT, FL, NM, OK, OR, TX and WV, and aspiring hunters in other states are encouraged to call their Fish and Game department and ask them to offer the NRA Free course. Todd Pringnitz, Feb. 2-9: Whitetail bowhunter Todd Pringnitz of White Knuckle Productions documents his hunts for a worldwide fan base of whitetail hunting enthusiasts, and he’ll be joining us to present his “Ghost Bucks” seminar.
Dr. Grant Woods, Feb. 5-6: With 28 years of experience working with deer throughout their range years, a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. based on his research of bucks using scrapes and rubs, Grant specializes in habitat improvement and hunting techniques. Learn hunting strategies and habitat management in his “Growing Deer” seminar based on the weekly, year-round show, GrowingDeer.tv, he has produced for the past nine years.
David Blanton, Feb. 9-10: David Blanton, executive producer and host of Realtree Outdoors and Realtree RoadTrips on Outdoor Channel and Monster Bucks TV on Sportsman's Channel, travels in search of monster whitetails, elk and other North American species every year. Hear him share experiences from his journeys in his “Monster Bucks” seminar.
Corey Brossman, Feb. 2-9: For more than 35 years, Innerlocs Out-There TV host and central PA native Corey Brossman has ruled the water with his bowfishing gear. Now he'll bring his passion, high-intensity and signature swag - watch out for t-shirts, hats and more flying your way - to this year’s Show! Corey's captivating “Bowfishing 101” seminar is fun for the whole family and will leave everyone motivated to get out on the water and enjoy this exciting sport.
Eddie Salter, Feb. 2-4: “Turkey Man” Eddie Salter kicks off the first ever GAOS Turkey Series—featuring a trio of turkey experts presenting during the entire duration of the Great American Outdoor Show. Get your fill of gobbler hunting tips and tricks from Eddie in his “Turkey Calling and Improving Your Success” seminar, followed by Nate Hosie of HeadHunters TV, Feb. 5-7, and Matt Morrett of Zink Calling, Feb. 8-10.

Phil Robertson, Thursday, Feb. 7 - Small Arena Seminar, “The Theft of America’s Soul” Book Signing, Meet and Greet at Friends of NRA Banquet: We’re excited to welcome Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson back to the Show! The lifelong hunter, lover of liberty and founder of Duck Commander will host a book signing and seminar on Feb. 7. Plus, Phil will join fellow Second Amendment enthusiasts at the Friends of NRA Banquet at 7pm that evening! Doors open at 6pm. Friends of NRA Banquet tickets are on sale now.
Lee & Tiffany Lakosky, Feb. 4-5 - Small Arena Q&A and Autograph Sessions: We are proud to welcome back Lee & Tiffany Lakosky, popular hosts of Outdoor Channel’s top-rated, award-winning Crush! They will host Q&A sessions in the Small Arena covering everything from hunting the Iowa whitetail woods and elk out west to farming, filming and food plots... no question about the outdoors is off limits.
Barry Wensel, Feb. 2-10: Pennsylvania native turned Montana transplant Barry Wensel has hunted with recurves and longbows for more than 50 years. He has written half a dozen books and hundreds of magazine articles, been involved in many video, audio and television productions, and done hundreds of speaking engagements and hunting seminars all over the world. He’ll share his extensive knowledge and experience in his “Hunting Whitetails” seminar.
Raptors Up Close, Feb. 2-10: Returning favorite Raptors Up Close will be back with exciting seminars designed for all ages, to educate and teach conservation through an entertaining demonstration with live birds of prey. Catch them in the Small Arena, or visit their booth #4518 by the Eddie Eagle Kid’s Zone to make some feathered friends!
Returning Favorite Events & Attractions
PA Taxidermy Association Competition, Feb. 2-6: Members of the PA Taxidermy Association, whether taxidermy professionals or simply hobbyists wanting to expand their opportunities, can showcase their best work to thousands of people each day. Spectators are welcome to come by and see this amazing display of talent in the Large Arena.
DockDogs, Feb. 2-6: The high-flying canine sensation returns to the Large Arena. Anyone who thinks their four-legged companion has what it takes to compete in one, two or all three of the DockDogs events is eligible to participate! Open to spectators!
Kids Casting Contest, Feb. 2-3 & 9-10: Young anglers ages 7 to 15 are welcomed to the Maclay Street Entrance to learn how to cast, pitch and flip a fishing rod from Pennsylvania Bass Federation volunteers, and then compete in a friendly contest. Winners proceed to the PA State cast-off!
NRA Family Activities, Feb. 2-10: The Eddie Eagle Kids Zone in the Hunting Outfitter Hall returns to provide fun, interactive activities for the kids, including coloring stations, wildlife identification, face painting, the basketball court and so much more. Stop by and have some fun while learning Eddie's lifesaving safety message! The NRA Air Gun Range in the Outdoor Lifestyle Hall features a 15-meter indoor air gun range with a ton of fun, reactive targets like spinning metal plates, animal silhouettes and even lollipops. Air guns are provided and NRA Range Safety Officers are there to provide tips and guidance—whether you're new or experienced, there's fun for everyone! The NRA Range Experience in the Hunting Outfitter Hall is a special area where families and youth can come together and enjoy learning how to shoot airsoft guns at various stations including Airsoft Rifle, Airsoft Pistol, and a 2-Gun Range of both Airsoft Rifle and Pistol.
Wall of Guns, Feb. 2-10: Play the odds in The NRA Foundation’s ever-popular event sponsored by Henry Repeating Arms and Nine Line Apparel, and try to win your choice from more than 40 firearms!
Friends of NRA Banquet, Feb. 7: Celebrate American values at a family-friendly night of fundraising for The NRA Foundation with chances to bid on and win unique firearms, merchandise and hunts. Special guest appearance by Phil Robertson of Duck Commander.

Afternoon Ticket: More to see? No problem! The Afternoon Ticket is just $8 and valid Monday through Thursday (Feb. 4-7) from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. This is a great way to see the Show after work, make follow-up purchases, attend a specific seminar or see one of your favorite outdoor celebrities.
Sunday Bounce Back: Back for a third year, it's our favorite promotion—the Sunday Bounce Back! All tickets valued at $12 or more are eligible for "Bounce Back" on the last day of the show. Guests who bring a previous day’s ticket receive FREE admission on Sunday, Feb. 10.
