This week we recognize Treasurer Randy Graf with the Santa Cruz Valley Friends of NRA.
Randy has been involved with the program for 14 years and doesn’t show signs of slowing down. Just last year he sold over 100 banquet tickets bringing in $5,000, sold several sponsorships equaling $2,000, and raised $1,000 in pre and post-event raffles.
“Randy’s leadership with this committee has been consistent,” said NRA Field Representative Paul Rodarmel. With his guidance, they’ve been able to raise more than $50,000 for The NRA Foundation year after year.
The efforts put forth by this team also landed them top of the leader board in Arizona last year. Hosting one of the top dinners in the state, Randy and his team have been able to turn a 500+ attendee event around without a hitch.
Achieving this status is an accomplishment in itself and it was through his willingness to help with statewide raffles, organize mail outs, attend special events, and lend a helping hand to his fellow Friends that made it all possible.
“The goal is to always do better than the previous year,” said Rodarmel. “Randy pursues this with an infectious passion that gives the entire committee energy and excitement for years to come.”
