Visionary designer and West Coast Choppers CEO Jesse James has teamed with the National Rifle Association to introduce NRA Originals, a new apparel line featuring James’ signature styling paired with NRA’s legendary emblems.
The clothing line, slated for release later this summer, features hats and shirts emblazoned with NRA regalia, inspired by James’ bold fashion sense and love for Americana.
James’ tenacious business and marketing approach coupled with his signature design savvy represented the perfect opportunity to produce loud and proud NRA gear. The line pulls heavily from NRA’s historic insignia, blending instantly recognizable logos with James’ aggressive styling.
The offerings represent the trademark style James is known to favor, which fans of his television series and custom creations will recognize.
Famous for his over-the-top custom motorcycles and vehicles, James employed his radical design forte in creating custom firearms, including 1911s, AR-15s and suppressors, available through his own Jesse James Firearms Unlimited.
James’ passionate gun craftsmanship is no surprise: the designer is an NRA Life Member, and a fervent supporter of the right to keep and bear arms. He previously designed a customized Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and two Nomad-series rifles for the annual NRA Truck Raffle Sweepstakes.
“I am very proud to have this partnership with an organization with such deep Americana roots,” James said. “My main goal with NRA Originals is to create products that embrace that American lifestyle, and celebrate the support of the Second Amendment.”
“The NRA is excited about Jesse’s NRA Originals line of product and what it brings to the organization. We feel even more fortunate to have him with us in this fight for freedom,” said Kyle Weaver, executive director of NRA General Operations.
