“Fools have no interest in understanding; they only want to air their own opinions."
(Proverbs 18:2)
Recently, The Young Turks published a video that can only be described as “verbal diarrhea,” “disgusting” and “foul.”
If you’re going to go on a 10-minute diatribe about gun safety, perhaps you should do your research and have your facts straight. Better yet, you should learn the definition of gun safety and not just use the term to justify your true endgame: gun control.
We don’t live in a world where ignorance is bliss. Crimes happen daily, hourly, by the minute.
Perhaps the Young Turks have been lucky enough to avoid becoming the target of a crime, but it happened to her, her, this family, this family, them, them, this couple, too… the list goes on, and on and on.
We all know what this is about. Anti-gunners like the Young Turks don't believe you have the right to protect yourself. It's funny, as they attack the NRA for trying to "normalize" firearms to youth, they plead with young people to go out and vote against politicians who support firearm ownership.
To do this, they continue to make the ridiculous claim that NRA fear-mongers to promote gun ownership, which leads to more incidents of shootings. Maybe these YouTubers should consult some actual facts before spewing out more lies.
Firearm-related homicides have decreased as more guns have been sold.
But please, continue to think Americans are being "duped" into protecting themselves and their loved ones. Your colors truly show what you think of the American public.
The anti-gun crowd will continue to suggest some ridiculous piece of new legislation that is completely unenforceable and won't make anyone safer. But we know what their real goal is here and they're right -- I don't want to have a conversation with an anti-gunner who wants to keep me from protecting my family.
