Weatherby has a strong passion of getting more women involved in hunting and after nearly a year of product development, the Camilla bolt-action rifle has arrived.
Thoughtfully named after the First Lady of Weatherby, Camilla was specifically designed for women by women. The stock, grip, length of pull and overall weight were crafted with women proportions in mind to help women be more efficient and equally skilled in the field.
“This project was very special to us,” shared Brenda Weatherby, wife of Weatherby’s Chief Operating Officer, Adam Weatherby. “More women are coming in to the industry and we put a lot of thought and effort in to creating something that would be field ready for new female hunters.”
Camilla will officially launch March 15th and the first 125 will be accompanied with a Leupold scope! It’s currently available in four calibers - .223, .243, 7 mm-.08 and .308 and accessible for right handed shooters for time being.
