From July 24th to July 31st, youth hunters age 18 and younger will compete in eight different skill areas to showcase the skills they’ve acquired through hunter education.
The eight skill areas include: Rifle, shotgun, muzzleloading, archery, wildlife identification, hunter responsibility, hunter safety and orienteering.
All participants competing in the International YHEC have previously competed and ranked top in a state or local event. Competing at the International event is a unique opportunity and great honor for all youth hunters.
