NRAblog will be on the ground in Las Vegas, Nevada all next week for the 2011 Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show. Known as the premier shooting sports and hunting industry trade show, SHOT is a four day exposition of guns, gear, and all the hunting/shooting accessories one could ever need. It's there that Colt, Smith & Wesson, Alpen Optics, Aimpoint and more will gather to show off their latest goodies. In all, there will be dealers and retailers from all 50 states and more than 100 countries to see what's in store.

As one might expect, the National Rifle Association has a booth (#14551 on the main floor) filled with staff, educational materials, and the latest information about our programs and initiatives.

While there, those of us here at NRAblog will do our best to provide the look and feel of the Show for those who are unable to attend. There will be pictures, interviews, and updates on as much as possible from every angle available. The week begins with Media Day (take a look at SHOT Show Media Day 2010) on Monday and concludes on the Show floor Friday afternoon.

So make sure to keep checking in next week &mdash there will be a lot to go around.
