Second day at F-Class National Championships by KJillson 5. October 2009 12:38

More from Jan Raab at the F-Class National Championships in Camp Butner, North Carolina.

On the second day of the F Class Nationals, three 15 shot matches were fired at 1000 yards.

Charles Ballard is still in first place in the F-Open category after dropping only six points total in the three 1000 yard matches. Jim Murphy fired 442-17x on the second day, which moved him up to second place, and Larry Bartholome moved up to third place in F-O. In spite of firing a perfect score of 150-7x in the first 1000 yard match of the day, Don Nagel dropped from second place on the first day down to fifth.

In the F-TR category, Danny Biggs moved up to first place, Jeff Rorer is in second place and Darrell Buell is in third.

F-TR

  • Danny Biggs 866-31x
  • Jeff Rorer 864-28x

  • 2nd F-TR, NSSC-BNX Rifle Team, 772-23x
  • 3rd F-TR, British Savages, 768-16x
In the aggregate of the 600 yard and 1000 yard team matches, Sierra Spindle Shooters and Team Sinclair also won their respective category
