By this time, we have cut the ribbon, eaten the cake, and celebrated the grand opening of the NRA National Firearms Museum's newly constructed store. (Pictures of the ceremony will come tomorrow!) In the photo above we see the "in progress" phase of construction.

The store was previously a corner of the Museum. Now, guests peruse a larger area built into the building's lobby. Below, the store is pictured closer to completion. "This expansion is something that will offer an improved experience to all Museum guests," Museum Director Jim Supica said. "Store Manager Benjamin Van Scoyoc has done a fabulous job, and we're all very excited about the potential of this new space."
