Two weeks from today marks 20 years to the day Phil Schreier started working as an employee of the National Rifle Association. One of the NRA National Firearms Museum's two senior curators, Schreier spends much of his time on the road. NRAblog was pleased to help coordinate a surprise party commemorating Schreier's 20 years of dedication and enthusiasm. In order to fit into everyone's schedule, friends and coworkers gathered to celebrate earlier this week, adding to the surprise.

Above, Phil was pleased with his cake: a creative rendition of his favorite seasoning, Old Bay, designed our very own Vanessa Warner of NRA Disabled Shooting Services.

"It's such an honor to be able to work with you all," Schreier told the crowd. Check back soon for more on this historic chapter of Phil's life!
